Thanks to the aids from the RDP (Rural Development Programme of Catalonia) co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development of the European Union and by the Departament d’Agricultura of the Generalitat de Catalunya, we have managed to continue making progress due to our determination that the plant of Cervera of SUBPRODUCTOS CARNICOS ECHEVARRIA Y ASOCIADOS, SL. is always at the cutting edge concerning the environmental care and the adjustment of all productive processes of this plant to the improvements that mean energy efficiency.

The criteria which have inspired this recent facilities modernisation have been:
1) Improvement of the treatment of animal waste by-products
2) To implement mechanisms that improve the quality of the finish of our products
3) To improve the energy efficiency of the process
4) To minimise the environmental impact of the activity
