With the help of the Rural Development Program of Catalonia, co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development of the European Union and the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Cervera factory of SUBPRODUCTOS CÁRNICOS ECHEVARRIA Y ASOCIADOS, SL. has achieved an improvement in the process of fat treatment sandach.

This improvement derived from the incorporation and installation of a new centrifuge-decanter in the productive process, has allowed to obtain a greater yield and quality of the generated fats allowing an improvement of the physicochemical properties that define the quality of the fats in such a way that a smaller percentage of impurities is reached in the finished product.

This investment project is part of the company’s strategy of investing in improvements in the production process to offer products with greater added value.
