ANAGRASA drives circular economy and sustainability from the Spanish Congress of Deputies
ANAGRASA, the Spanish Association of Companies Dedicated to the Processing of Animal By-Products, organized an event at the Congress of Deputies to highlight the sector’s importance in developing sustainable policies and advancing the 2030 Agenda. During the event, ANAGRASA President David Codina emphasized the sector’s pivotal role in the circular and sustainable economy, transforming by-products into animal feed.
The event featured a roundtable discussion with parliamentarians who stressed the need for ongoing dialogue between public authorities and companies involved in the European Green Deal. The President of the Congress, Francina Armengol, expressed gratitude for ANAGRASA’s commitment to sustainability and pledged to collaborate on the development of joint policies.
ANAGRASA works to improve public health, animal health, environmental protection, and food safety, contributing to a circular economy through the efficient management of animal by-products in Spain.
